STAR OF THE WEEK--RYAN

 Today we learned more about Ryan, our Star of the Week!  Ryan shared photos of him sledding and on a roller coaster.  Ryan's favorite color is red and his favorite activity is playing "Angry Birds" on his I-pad.  Thanks for sharing with us, Ryan!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, DORIAN!

 Today we helped Dorian celebrate his birthday!  His mom read us the story, The Princess and the Frog.  Then, we enjoyed yummy donuts for snack.  Happy Birthday, Dorian!

COLOR MIXING!

Check out the photos below which demonstrate the color mixing activity available for children to do during Free Choice time.  This has quickly become a very popular activity!

 In the photo below, the child did a pattern as he mixed the colored water.

RAINBOWS!

Yesterday, we read a story called, Looking For A Rainbow, which is a book written and illustrated by a Kindergarten class from another school.  During Free Choice this week, children will create their own rainbows which we will display in our classroom.

COLOR BOOKS WITH BUDDIES

 Yesterday, we met with our second grade buddies and worked on a color book, "Colors I Can See" together.  Pre-K children drew the pictures and their buddies wrote the words.  These colorful creations are on the bulletin board outside the Pre-K classroom.
