NUTCRACKER

One of our very own Pre-K "A" friends is going to be in the New Albany Ballet Company's production of "The Nutcracker".....Genevieve is the Sugar Plum Fairy!  Today, she shared with us a special nutcracker that her mother gave to her.  Good Luck, Genevieve!

COLOR MIXING SEATWORK

 Be sure to ask your child to explain the seatwork he/she did to review what happens when you mix together primary colors.

STAR OF THE WEEK--TOMMY!

Today we learned more about our friend, Tommy.  He loves to eat peanut butter and jelly sandwiches and his favorite animal is a frog.  Tommy plays soccer and also does Karate.  Thanks for sharing your photos with us today and telling us about some of your favorite things, Tommy!

HAPPY HALF-BIRTHDAY, HENRY!

Today we celebrated Henry's half-birthday!  Henry's mom read some chapters from one of Henry's favorite "Captain Underpants" stories.  We then enjoyed eating homemade banana muffins which Henry helped to make.  Happy Half-Birthday, Henry!

COLOR DAY FUN!

Our color activity in Spanish involved sorting colored cereal (Froot Loops); creating the pattern of the rainbow colors; and transferring the pattern into a necklace using the Froot Loops.

DOG'S COLORFUL DAY

 Today we read Dog's Colorful Day twice.  The second time we read it, the children helped tell the story using props.  Children can continue to retell this story with the props during Free Choice time.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, MAGGIE!

Today we celebrated Maggie's birthday!  Maggie's mom read the story, The Bora Bora Dress.  Then, we enjoyed eating star-shaped Rice Krispie treats and strawberries for snack.  Happy Birthday, Maggie!
