Today we read the story, The Very Hungry Caterpillar, by Eric Carle. The second time we read the story, we did so with flannel board pieces. Finally, we had each child draw a picture of what he/she would eat if he/she was a hungry caterpillar. Their drawings are posted on a large caterpillar on the bulletin board outside of our classroom. Be sure to ask your child what food he/she drew!
