The weather today was perfect for our snow story and for discussing snowflakes. Be sure to ask your child what he/she learned from the story we read....how snow is helpful to animals hibernating; how snow is helpful to plants in the ground; how snow is helpful to us!! We learned that snowflakes always have 6 sides, but each looks different. Finally, we made our own snowflakes out of white coffee filters.
