Using the objects pictured in the photo below, we conducted an experiment to find out which ones would float in water. Each child was given one of the objects. He/she made a prediction about whether or not it would float and then placed the object in the water to discover what would happen. Be sure to ask your child to share the discoveries made during this activity.
