During Free Choice time, children can match the color words to the colors as can be seen in the photos below.
After reading the story, RED IS BEST, we created a graph of our favorite colors.
Today we read the story, WHITE RABBIT'S COLOR BOOK. The story demonstrates what happens when colors are mixed together.
Following the story, we looked at a "Color Wheel" and discussed primary and secondary colors.
Finally, a color-mixing activity was presented and explained. This activity will be available beginning tomorrow during Free Choice at the Discovery Shelf.
