Today we read the story, Who Stole The Cookie From The Cookie Jar? Later in the morning, we read the main"chorus" in the story which was written out and placed in our pocket chart. (see photo below). To help children see the separation of the words, there is a green dot below each word and a red dot indicating the punctuation marks. There are cards with each child's name which can be placed in the second sentence. This activity is available for children to do in the classroom library during Free Choice time.
