Today we introduced a new number activity. To do this activity, a child takes out a number chart with numbers 1 through 100 and a basket of number tiles. A child chooses 2 numbers and puts them together to make a 2-digit number.
After forming the 2-digit number (like number 28 in the photo below), the child colors in the number on his/her chart. Next...
...the child switches places with the 2 numbers to form a new 2-digit number (like number 82 in the photo below). He/She then colors in this number on the chart.
